Ashley Abene received her Bachelor’s degree in Professional and Technical Writing at USF Sarasota-Manatee in 2009. While at USF Sarasota-Manatee she served as Secretary of the Student Government Association from 2007-2008 and President from 2008-2009.

Ashley joined USF SM Student Services in 2009 with the Office of Recruitment and currently works to promote USF SM throughout the high schools and community/state colleges throughout the State of Florida. Ashley is also currently the President of the USF Manatee-Sarasota Alumni Chapter Board. She has served and continues to serve on several committees at USF Sarasota-Manatee. Ashley is continuing her education by obtaining her Master’s and eventually her Doctorate degree.
