Student Referral
Do you have students who are encountering difficulty in your class? The Office of Student Services wants to work with those students to help resolve issues affecting their academics. It is important that we identify these students early.
USF Sarasota-Manatee is very proud of our retention (77.99%) and graduation (66.51%) rates. Presently, we have the highest rates of all USF Campuses for Community College A.A. students, but our goal is to reach the state standards of 80% for retention and 69% for graduation. We need your help to attain these goals!
Just a reminder the last day students may drop classes without academic penalty by the date listed on the Registration website. If a student is having problems in your class, please refer him/her to an academic advisor. It is important that students understand their academic options. Dropping a class may not be an appropriate action, especially if he/she is on academic probation. An advisor will be able to determine the best course of action for that student.
