How does a student make a tutoring appointment?
Appointments are not necessary for math tutoring and drop-ins are welcome during regularly scheduled tutoring hours. However, students who want to reserve a time for a 1-on-1 session with a tutor or schedule an on-line (Skype) session, should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (941)359-4225 to schedule a math tutoring appointment.
At this time, weekend appointments are not available.
How should I prepare for a tutoring session?
If you prefer 1-on-1 sessions or on-line (Skype) sessions, we recommend making your appointment early in the semester. This will ensure that you get an appointment and that you will have time for a return visit if you need additional help. Please see the list below to prepare for your appointment:
- Bring a copy of the assignment or instructions
- Be prepared to describe one or two of your main concerns about your math skills
