Information Commons
At the Information Commons students have access to quiet study spaces, computers, printers, and various media equipment that is also available for check-out.
The Information Commons is staffed with librarians, learning support faculty, tutors, and technology support specialists. Together they provide workshops and individual assistance in reference and research assistance, tutoring in writing, math and other subject areas, and support with E-learning, hardware and software.
Students also have quiet study spaces at the Jane Bancroft Cook Library where our printed books and journals are located. A shared resource between USF Sarasota-Manatee and New College of Florida, the Cook Library is located one-half mile south of the university. In addition, students have access to over 700,000 on-line resources through the USF System virtual library.
