The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee is proud to serve members of the U.S. military. Our faculty created programs help you become a successful student both in and out of the classroom. Admissions collaborates with Veterans Services to provide veteran students and their eligible dependents with high-quality service and support to ensure your success as a student.
Veterans Services
Veterans Services provides specialized services to veterans, eligible dependents, active duty servicepersons, and members of the Selected Reserve. Our staff assists students with initiating, continuing, or resuming their education, and use their Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits.
USF Sarasota-Manatee will assist you with obtaining, completing, and submitting your documentation to the Veterans Services Office on the USF Tampa campus. The USF Tampa staff members provide a point-of-contact for VA students attending all USF System campuses and assists students with using their VA Educational Benefits, and serves as information and referral resources.
Student Services (SMC C107) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus is here to assist you from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday (except holidays) and can be reached at (941) 359-4330 or by email at vastudents@sar.usf.edu. You can also directly contact the USF Tampa Office of Veterans Services located at SVC 2127,4202 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33620. They are available 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday (except holidays) and can be reached by phone at (813) 974-2291 or through their website at veterans.usf.edu.
