She started her hospitality career in banquet catering and corporate meeting/event planning. Prior to USF, she worked as a Catering & Conference Sales Manager for Holiday Inn Hotels, a Field Director with a convention marketing research company, and a Dining Room Manager for a national restaurant chain in Miami and Sarasota, FL. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami, FL as well as a Degree in Business-Food Marketing from The State University of New York at Alfred. In May of 2009, she received a certificate in Meeting & Event Planning from USF Tampa and is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Hospitality Management at the University of South Florida.
