English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Requirements
Welcome! Fulfilling the ESOL endorsement is required of students in the B.A./B.S. programs of Elementary Education and the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program in order to graduate from the USF Sarasota Manatee College of Education. For some other COE graduate programs, there may also be an ESOL requirement. Please review your program of study specifics or contact Diane Lewis, Graduate Academic Advisor, for information.
Fulfilling the ESOL endorsement requirements are more than just completing coursework. Students undertake practical ESOL experiences and document the equivalent of 300 hours of ESOL training.
