Educators' Alliance: Preparing Teachers for Diverse Classrooms is a student organization founded in 2008 by Dr. Marie Byrd-Blake, Assistant Professor in the College of Education and five USF Sarasota-Manatee COE undergraduate students. SMILE (USF Sarasota Manatee Inspiring Lifelong Educators) is an organization of current and former students who meet to collaborate and discuss current topics that need to be addressed by all educators, whether they are new or experienced.
The mission of USFSM SMILE is "to empower current and future educators with research and data driven practices that support our students, families, and ultimately the community."

USF (SM)2 (USF Math Club) is open to all USF students regardless of math ability. Those who love math will enjoy opportunities to promote, encourage, and support sense-making in math with families and children. Those who aspire to love math will have opportunities to hone their understandings as we engage with the community. If you are interested in volunteering for the club's 2nd annual Hands-On Mathematical Art Fair scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 from 8:30 am-4:30 am, please click here to read more.
