Bay to Bay Consortium

The nationally accredited Colleges of Education at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee are pleased to announce a joint initiative designed to meet the regions' needs for certified teachers for the schools of our area.  The Bay-to-Bay Consortium permits students in the area to move seamlessly through programs offered on both campuses.  Coordinating advisement, course scheduling and assessment features of the programs, we are able to offer courses and degrees tailored for the convenience of our students.  New for the fall 2012 is the MA in Exceptional Student Education.

The Master of Arts in  Exceptional Student Education (ESE) provides an in-depth view of research, theories, and the application of theory to classroom teaching in Exceptional Student Education.  This unique graduate program offers students a flexible program of study based on an applicant's previous degree, areas of interest, and experiences in the area of ESE.  The program requires 36 credit hours and will vary depending on the selection track and/or endorsement areas.  Coursework is provided through on-line classes, on campus classes, and a blended model of on-line coursework and in class sessions.  This exciting new program allows you to access admission/application assistance as well as advising support from USFSM even though USFS)P will be your home campus.
