Phone 941-359-4605 Jim Curran has over 30 years of experience working and researching in the field of marketing. Prior to turning to teaching full time, his experience includes sales and marketing positions with four large international precious metals firms and time managing his own manufacturers representative business. Dr. Curran has taught more than twenty different marketing courses on both the graduate and undergraduate levels. His research interests include services marketing, customer loyalty, the use of technologies in marketing, and customer relationship management. The results of his research have been presented nationally and internationally and his work has been published in the Journal of Service Research, Journal of Services Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Marketing Theory & Practice, Journal of Marketing Education, Journal of Business to Business Marketing, and Journal of Marketing for Higher Education. Dr. Curran holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration/Marketing and an M.B.A from the University of Rhode Island and a B.A. in Mathematics from Fordham University. |
