What does my score mean?
Total scores for the ETS
Major Field Test are reported on a scale of
120-200. Students who score 160 or better
will receive a signed Certificate of
Achievement. Over the past
administrations of the test, USF
Sarasota-Manatee business majors have
performed very well in comparison to the
nation.
Who will see my score?
USF Sarasota-Manatee will report scores in
the aggregate form only. Instructors and the
Dean will be able to view individual scores.
There are no negative consequences to
performing poorly on the test; however, we
hope that you will apply your best effort
when taking the exam. You can report your
individual score to prospective employers or
when applying for a master's degree, and
don't forget that you will also receive a
signed Certificate of Achievement if you
achieve a score of 160 or better. Feel free
to contact the University's Institutional
Research office for assistance on how best
to highly your score.
What if I need special
accommodations when taking tests?
Any student requiring disability testing
accommodations must be registered with the
Students with Disabilities Services office
and make arrangements two weeks prior to the
test date. Please notify your instructor and
contact Pat Lakey, SDS Coordinator, at
359-4714.
What do I need to bring with me on
the day of test?
Nothing, the proctors will provide
everything you need. Use of a calculator is
not permitted.
