Ms. Katherine Lamb is a Visiting Instructor of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.

Professor Lamb received her MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Governors State University. She is near completion of her dissertation, Semantic feature distinctiveness and word frequency, and her PhD, with expected completion in Summer 2012.

Ms. Lamb’s research interests include lexical access, semantic relationships, attractor network dynamics, aging and lexical access and aphasia. Ms. Lamb’s future research interests include (more...)

the clinical impact of neurogenic disorders on lexical access. Ms. Lamb has taught several graduate and undergraduate courses at USF, including traumatic brain injury, right hemisphere disorders, motor speech disorders, aphasia, dysphagia, and introduction to disorders of speech and language.

In addition to teaching courses at the university level, Ms. Lamb has also provided graduate clinical instruction in acute care hospitals, outpatient, and university clinics. (hide...)
