The Certificates of Specialization are offered by the
Sarasota-Manatee campus only, and provide IT students a way to focus
on specific areas of interest without adding extra hours to the
degree. USF-SM currently offers five undergraduate IT certificates of
specialization in the following areas. Each certificate requires 5
courses, 15 credits from the specialization with a grade of B- or
better. Certificates can be completed in a year if the student takes
all courses available each semester. Course equivalencies must be
approved by the College Dean.
