This program is 100% online. We welcome you to use the tools on our website to learn about the program's purpose and requirements and follow our step-by-step guide to admissions and registration. The B.S. in Speech-Language Sciences consists of twelve, upper-level major courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). This is a 2nd BS degree, intended for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree from a field outside of CSD. To be eligible to apply for graduate school in speech-language pathology, students with degrees from other fields need to complete prerequisite CSD courses. The BS-SLS provides these courses, along with the depth of knowledge to support these students in their graduate school pursuits. Graduates of the BS-SLS program may also be
eligible for employment in some settings, for example, as SLP
assistants or as temporary SLPs in Florida public schools .
